However, not all women would like to or be able to attend those classes and fitness sessions. Because of this, they opt for simple exercises they can do at home. The problem with this is that not all exercises are safe during pregnancy, no matter how simple they seem. In this article, we will discuss some exercises you simply must avoid during pregnancy.

It can interfere with blood circulation and make you dizzy. It can also cause back pain and low blood pressure.

Aerobic exercise is a great way to stretch and relax your body. However, high impact aerobics can be dangerous during pregnancy. Exercises such as jumping jacks, running, step aerobics, dancing, etc. can put a lot of strain on your body and make you weak. They can also make you overheated and dehydrated.

Most contact sports are dangerous for pregnant women. Sports like football, volleyball, and cycling especially, should be avoided. This is because they increase the risk of falling and even getting hit by a ball, both of which can injure your baby. They can also lead to joint instability and cramps.
